Novice

Novice level earthbending requires honing ones physical strength to achieve optimal bending. At this stage earthbending techniques are more related to physical rather than spiritual.

Earth and Stone Levitation - The most basic form of earthbending. The earthbender will cause a boulder to lift from the ground, and propel it at the opponent.

Earth Block - The most basic form of earthbending. The earthbender will cause a block made of pure earth to rise from the ground and protect against an equal level or lower attack. Can withstand up to one attack per every 10 chi added.

Earth Launch - A technique used to travel vast distances quickly. The bender forces the earth to propel an object into the air. The jump distances is equal to the maximum distance a technique will do.

Earth Material Manipulation - Earthbenders are not confined to just bending rock and stone. Any natural mineral is able to be bended into any form. The larger the object the more chi is required.

Earth Smash - Because of the knowledge of earthbending, Earthbenders can smash and shatter stone of any size regardless of physical strength or muscle tone. This is used mostly as a defensive technique when battling other earthbenders. The bender must double the opponents chi attack to effectively smash the stone attack.
