The search for water of Eden pt1

*shiri waited in the deserts of ishbal for renkinjutsu wearing a desert robe*

*shiri sees a man walking by and approaches him*
S: do you know where this place is? *shiri points at a location on a piece of paper*
M: yes continue northwest of here and you should find the cave but be careful there
S:I will thank you *shiri starts walking trudging through the sand*

Renkinjutsu: *runs after him* Shiri wait up!

Renkin? Ah you came.......you don't have to come you know it will most likely be dangerous....if your not up to it....leave now

Renkinjutsu: *keeps walking, determined to help find the water of eden*

There's been strange sightings of gigantic monsters in the area that resemble the natural wildlife so i hope you came armed

Renkinjutsu: *his retractable staff is at clipped to his side and he has a transmutation circle burned into his palm by alchemy*

ok then lets move along *shiri and renkinjutsu walk in the direction told to him by the man until eventually they see in front of them a huge rock with a cave entrance 30 ft high in the side of the rock the sound of a bug is heard as shiri looks at the rock* thats huge it doesnt look naturally formed.....you think maybe an alchemist?

Renkinjutsu: quite probably *Renkinjutsu claps his hands together* *he places them on the face of the rock and the rock erodes into a ladder to the cave*

you performed human transmutation renkin? *shiri is surprised and has not seen the circle on his palm*

Renkinjutsu: the circles in my palms? No I alchemically heated metal brands and burned the circles into my palms

ah i see so you cant perform without a circle just remember one circle has specific properties to do certain things you cant do anything with those marks on your hands *shiri begins to climb up the ladder as something big underneath the sand begins to make a beeline for him burrowing underground it is not clear what it is but shiri has his back turned and does not see it coming at him*

Renkinjutsu: *hears something coming* Um Shiri, you may want to get that bow out now

Hmm?*shiri turns around to see a giant 10 ft tall centipede arise from the ground* no I can do this without my bow*shiri thinks about taking off his gloves but doesn't he just claps his hand and touches the centipede on the head using a monstrous jump to get up there and the centipede begins to transform in it's head reigon*Thanks for the warning that probably could have ripped off one of my limbs with those pinsers

Renkinjutsu: you're welcome *he starts up the ladder*

*shiri climbs up as the head of the centipede disintegrates*

Renkinjutsu: *follows after* Shiri, wait up!

Look at that bug on the floor*points to a bug that looks like 2 combined* obvious mutation there's something here that's genetically altering the wildlife

Renkinjutsu: *crouches low and looks closer at the insect* this isn't a genetic mutation, it's actually two beetles fused by an amateur alchemist.

Shiri: alchemists shouldnt bee messing around with living creatures what a shame *walks into a small dark cave where light can be seen faintly inside*

Renkinjutsu: *follows Shiri into the cave using Alchemy to make a torch*

*shiri and renkin continue wandering until they see a skeleton holding a red gem in his hand laying on the floor surrounded by what appears to be transmutatuion circles* hmm.....whats going on in here

Renkinjutsu: I don't know but it doesn't seem good

*as renkin says this the skeleton flies at him aiming to grab his throat*
