Nasuke vs. Karasu (Training)

Nasuke and karasu land in the forest near the akatsuki and the phoenixes vanish in a poof of smoke. "ahh" Nasuke strecthes his arms. "it feels good to be sane again...."

(Zero) Edit: After Karasu's training, he decides to test his newly developed skills in a training battle with Nasuke in the Forest of the Akatsuki. Since they have been training all day, it is now in the dead of night. All is silent as the chirps of crickets can be heard from a distance.

Gintoki brings his yoyos back to him and smacks them into each other, turning them back into the sword they originally were. Gintoki takes in a breath and exhales. Gintoki slices upward as the blast comes five feet of him and releases a burst of chakra from his sword. He was sent backward from the force though with several bruises.

Finally... at least I managed to get him injured. Slowly and painfully, Karasu managed to eventually crawl forward a bit. Still too many questions left unanswered...

Gintoki sighs and lets out a mist of chakra. The mist covers him and heals his wounds. that kid aint half bad, so nasuke wasnt wasting his time after all Gin walks over to karasu. "how you feeling?"

Karasu says nothing, saving his last breaths. Nearby, Karasu's previous sensei, Cipher, had been spectating the entire battle while completely hiding his presence with a chain of jutsus. He had followed Karasu but decided not to reveal himself, even now.

That fellow sure is powerful... the reason why he might've not sensed me at all was because Karasu's chakra signature was overriding mine and distracted him... but now, I'd better get ready. My mission was to kill Karasu himself, but I guess that won't be a problem now... I will miss the kid *a little*.

Cipher was thinking to himself hard about whether to try and save his backstabbing pupil or return to the village to collect his money... hopefully without attracting any un-needed attention...

Gin picks up karasu and feels a faint presence nearby and smiles a little. another ninja is nearby...to not notice this even while in battle...i really need to train again "Fenshi!" Gin's blade shoots out a white orb and it turns into a white phoenix. "time to bail" Gin jumps on fenshi, holding karasu and flies off.

FFFuuu-... Byakugan!! Cipher begins to rapidly make a set of hand seals while keeping a sharp eye on the white phoenix. I can't believe I even thought about fleeing... where has my sense of honor gone? The air throughout the entire area began to decrease in temperature at a very fast rate...

OOC: I didn't technically use any jutsus yet since none of them are approved lol

Gintoki smiles and jumped off fenshi and it took off towards his secret hideout in sungakure(just so you know they didnt vanish lol), meanwhile gintoki unsheathed his sword, shizo. "Shizo, black cat transformation" Two abyss black guns magically flew out of the sword's blade and gintoki resheathed his sword. "byaringan!" His bloodline activated and looked at the forest, searching for cipher's chakra, finding it before hitting the ground. Gintoki went into a roll when he hit the ground to soften the impact then fired off two shots into forest which were aimed at the chakra point in cipher's arm.

Cipher held two ice shards and threw them simultaenously at the shots,slicing them in half. He made sure not to reveal his location with his attack and steadied his Cold Blood Cloaking as he could tell that he was about to get compromised.

"chronos eye" GIntoki's byaringan turned dark gray and he saw everything in heat vision. Everything may be cold but even ninjas exert some body heat. He found cipher's cloaked self some hundred yards away and thrusted out his palm. "eight trigrams mountain break!" A small but deadly burst of chakra headed for cipher and as it traveled. the trees and all in its path turned to dust.

Eight Trigrams Ice Palms Heavenly Spin (<- what a mouthful)!! Cipher released a very large amount of chakra from his chakra points and spun rapidly, creating a shield of ice chakra that cleanly stopped the attack and creating a small hole in the ground where the chakra shield was used.

Cipher released his Cold-Blooded Cloaking as his opponent could use similar abilities to the Hyuuga Clan's. "Well, well... I suppose there's no need to hide myself now... and it's my turn."

Cipher slammed his fist into the ground, releasing a vast amount of ice energy...

Gintoki quickly replaced the hold on his guns and charging a ball of fire in the chambers. "hehe" "Meteor strike!" Gintoki fired his gun, releasing a large fireball into the sky which then split into multiple small fireballs which heated up the area while raining down on any enemies in the area.

Cipher made a unique set of hand seals and looked towards the meteors, and forcefully shot a very small piece of ice into the sky and made more seals and placed two fingers near his mouth, whispering something. Then, suddenly, a blinding white spot opened up in the clouds, releasing a powerful mini-blizzard that seemed to be made of... "shiny dust". The speed and force of the attack was so great that it caused Cipher's hood to fly back, revealing his "something landed on my head and died" 'dark' black hair. The Diamond Dust should easily wipe out those fireballs and hit this guy too. Good thing the dust isn't totally a physical attack that fades away instantly...

Cipher was using this time to his advantage and momentarily re-activated his cloaking and disappeared to attempt an ambush after the dust's effects kicked in.

Like Gaara's ability to move sand around with just his hands from just about any distance, Cipher kept the dust rotating near his opponent until he got exhausted. ... He's going to have to lower his defenses at some point.

Gintoki could keep up his aura for a while but he would run out eventually. Gintoki lets out a screech and fenshi, having dropped off karasu flew back to gintoki, releasing waves of heat to fend off the dust. Fenshi landed by gintoki and gintoki thrusted his hand into fenshi's chest while performing a long complicated string of handsigns in under a minute. "summoning infusion!" A large burst of chakra blew away the dust.

Watching from a distance, Cipher saw the quick and clever comeback that his opponent had made. Curse it all... He unsheathed his Chakra Blades and coursed ice energy through it, and immediately deployed three explosive ice clones (creates an instant but relatively minor explosion of ice when destroyed) to go through the dust and serve as a temporary distraction.

The first clone threw both chakra blades into the cloud of debris and (normal) dust and then immediately followed that attack up with 25 rapid knife throws to make sure the coast was clear and then moved in, ready to attack.

The second clone unsheathed his chakra sword and moved in to backup the first one.

The third and fourth clones provided long-ranged jutsu backup frrom a distance.

With all my clones closing in on him, he'll have to escape or destroy then, which will give me enough time to use my new Iceburn jutsu...

Gintoki appears with large red wings engulfed with fire and red eyes as bright as an inferno. "gintoki jumped and took off into the sky and took in a deep breath before releasing a hgue stream of fire along the ground, burning the clones and their attacks.

Despite the fact that he was relatively far away from the clones, Cipher felt that feiry attack, and would have taken some serious burns had his clones not exploded, which created enough "counter-temp" to prevent too much damage from being done.

... I'd better keep a very good distance at all times while he's in that form and launch projectile attacks then... but if this battle draws out too long and I don't re-gain some solid ground, then the Cursed Seal might re-activate and who knows what'll happen then...

Cipher boosted himself high into the air with wind chakra and then held his right arm with his left hand to make the jutsu more accurate (being mid-air DOES reduce the accuracy a lot...) and emmited a powerful jet of ice at Gintoki.

I'm holding back my chakra for now... I gotta see what this guy has up his sleeve before expending too much chakra, but that might not be the best idea either...

Gintoki held out his hands and the guns he called earlier turned back into his sword. ice was never my best friend....hmm maybe metal "fullmetal mode" The sword flew into gintoki's chest and vanished, causing him to fall over shortly after.

This is far from over... Cipher held his knives up directly towards the sky as white lightning struck them both, causing a brief blinding flash. The blades were gone now, and were replaced with a single katana that was quite the looker. Cold mist ran down the sword as Cipher soared down to Gintoki.

Gintoki stands up breathing heavily. "that's it after this back to training" Gin claps his hands and slams them on the ground, flash of light shines and the forest is filled with smoke. Gin sneaks off in the smokescreen.

"No, wait!!" shouts Cipher. He decends towards the ground and starts sprinting in Gintoki's direction using his Advanced Byakugan, katana still in his grip.

Gintoki claps his hands and taps the ground with his hand, a wood barrier surrounds him to give him time to think. "hmmm"

Cipher extended the length of the blade greatly with his chakra and attempted to pierce through the wooden barrier with it to get to Gintoki, with both hands on the handle above his head for extra support. Sigh... what's he doing now...

Gintoki's sword falls out of his chest. "i guess i have no choice do i?" Gintoki lowers the barrier and covers his sword in wind chakra and parries cipher's sword and he dashes at cipher following the length of his extended sword.
