Nasuke vs. Karasu (Training)

Nasuke and karasu land in the forest near the akatsuki and the phoenixes vanish in a poof of smoke. "ahh" Nasuke strecthes his arms. "it feels good to be sane again...."

(Zero) Edit: After Karasu's training, he decides to test his newly developed skills in a training battle with Nasuke in the Forest of the Akatsuki. Since they have been training all day, it is now in the dead of night. All is silent as the chirps of crickets can be heard from a distance.

Feeling slightly relieved by the bird, not being able to sense Nasuke's presence at all, he let his guard down for a moment. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but this could be a trap... Karasu shoo'ed the bluejay away and turned his attention towards the bear cub and tiger. That's not normal, we don't own these kinds of animals in the forest...

The bear cub and tiger then for no reaosn attack each other. The bloody battle continuesfor several minutes until both animals drop dead from blood loss. Vultures swoop down and devour the spoils. Multitudes of crows sit on the trees in the forest, watching the vultures, joining in the feast from time to time.

Karasu raised an eyebrow at this, still not letting down his guard. He's definitely behind this random chain of slaughter... By this time, Hayabusa was fully recovered with surplus energy to attack and defend. The chakra strings connecting the two were stronger than ever, but still... no sign of Nasuke.

The vultures and crows turn to karasu and he could sense and feel the malovence in the air. There was death and blood and then suddenly the birds attack.

Using the strengthed Hayabusa puppet, Karasu defeated all of the birds in a matter of seconds. Is that all you got? Really?

The attacks of the puppets merely went through the birds like they were some sort of illusion. Some of the birds gotto karasu and pecked him and it hurt. The birds were illusions but they hurt as if they were real, this might cause some doubt within karasu. A white owl covered in bright indigo flames sat on a branch and its eyes were odd, one was red the other was blue.

Karasu ignored the owl and raised his Warflame Shield to counter the Genjutsu. Not... that simple...

The birds vanish but tigers appear in their place and start to maul karasu. The owl hoots and something in its right eye shifts.

Karasu receives a couple of wounds to the solarplexus but continues to defend himself with the white-hot shield of flames.

The flames on karasu's shield leapt off and formed into owl similar to the one in the trees and joined in the attack. It was obvious this was no ordinary illusion or genjutsu.

Endure... Karasu preserved his chakra, healing himself when needed. He attempted to jump from branch to branch searching for the culprit, and occasionally threw a kunai w/ explosive seal back at the horde.

Soo all the animals turned into owls and flew after karasu. It was like nasuke was trying to give him a hint.

Man, why can't I ever take a hint... Karasu went back, cutting up the owls with Hayabusa's help. For some reason, the puppet was in better shape than ever, despite the fact that a Genjutsu was active...

"Wow. You got me." said Karasu, slightly annoyed. "Now come out and fight for real instead of using your illusions..."

The owl's beak moves. "funny thing is i've been here the whole time, that realism was me attacking with my weapon." The surroundings warp and nasuke stands in the tree next to the owl, holding a twin headed trident covered in indigo flames like the owl. "mist battle mode....illusionary master"

Great... another Genjutsu user... this is going to be quite a nuisance. Although Karasu was skilled in the art of Genjutsu himself, he preferred not to use it for whatever reason. "Hmph." Karasu said nothing more, mvoing around the chakra strings to make Hayabusa rapidly slash at Nasuke.

Something in the bird's eye shifts again and nasuke vanishes before the attack reaches him. The owl hoots and flies off into the forest.

Using the branches, Karasu steadily catches up to the owl while moving the strings so that Hayabusa would follow close to him.

The owl casually glides among the trees unaware.

Karasu was finally very close to the owl. He took cover behind a tree and watched it carefully.

THe owl glides up, exposing his back.

What the heck? Is he actually going to fight or put on a magic show the whole time? Karasu continues watching silently, not moving a single muscle.

The surroundings warp again and nasuke is dashing in front of karasu and the owl turns into the trident he was holding earlier. NAsuke jumps and lands several yards away, thee trident vanishes. "ok no more illusions....time to bring out 40%" Nasuke draws a weird symbol in the air with his chakra and a dark light glows as a small hole opens up in the ground, dark chakra flows from it, its malovence is powerful like that of the demon weapons yet it has a angelic feel to it.

Whatever he's doing... well, I actually put a lot of time into creating Hayabusa, so I'll be prepared for anything unordinary... Karasu moves his hands and Hayabusa mimics his movements, changing his stance into a defensive one with his two swords.
