-Lacey wipes sweat from her head and claps her hands together. she runs at Ed, then throws objects from her hands. She had made 2 ice shuriken and hurles them at him while running.-

Ed: *flips over the shurikens and lands behind Lacey* ..ehehe. *claps his hands together and hits the ground* ... *a large cannon rises and looms over Lacey* Aha. Take this! *the cannon fires*

-Lacey has little time to react. She turns just as the cannon is fired and is shot back with full force, flying in the air.-

*appears behind Lacey and catches her* Okay...that's enough for now.

Ed: *dissolves the cannon and shrugs* Very well. Sorry kid....better luck next time.

-Lacey looks up to Natsuki her eyes excited with the adrenaline of battle.- "I wanna be as good as him!" -Laceys love for alchemy grew by 100x after seeing Ed's cannon. Her thoughts are racing with the excitement of the fight.-

Ed and I trained together while he was growing up. So....I'll get you to that level, don't worry. Besides... *brushes any dirt off her* ...Your mother is counting on you to fight in my place during the war.

-Lacey nods to Natsuki.- "I understand. Oh does that mean I get to fight Haji?! Oh now that is exciting!"

Well.... I'm hoping that he won't actually be fighting....

-Lacey ponders.- "Well if he is part of that alliance, him not fighting isn't really an option. They would kill him for sure..."

I know... *looks at the ground* That's what worries me.

-Lacey, with her same familiar spunk, looks to Natsuki.- "I can take him on. If it means keeping him out of harm, it has to be done." -Lacey pats Natsuki on the back.- "Besides....that's what family does.."

*smiles slightly and looks up at her* ..Right.

"So any last tips before the training is over? You are the expert after all.....what do I need to know in order to take the next step?" -Lacey says as she let's down her hair.-

I want to try something... *takes out a small knife and cuts the palm of my hand* Let me see you arm, please..

-Lacey holds out her arm to Natsuki.- "Ok....."

*starts drawing an intricate transmutation circle with my blood* ....This is a special mark. It allows you to tap into my abilities and use them freely. Basically... You'll be a temporary philosopher's stone. *the blood seeps into her skin and leaves a tattoo like mark* ..there. *taps the mark with my finger* Try it out.

-Lacey slams her hands on the ground and a machine gun forms from the ground at will.- "Oh yes......"

Very good. Now.... *hold out my hand, still bleeding* I want you to try healing this. You should be able to use your powers to heal, but be cautious. It takes a lot more energy and can be complicated.

-Lacey nods. She holds her hands over Natsuki's wounds and charges the energy and concentrates heavily on the wound. It slowly begins to heal.-

-Lacey finishes the healing process.- "Now, being the brainiack that I am, when will I know I've taken too much of your energy. Even you have your limits..." -Lacey looks into her eyes, making sure Natsuki knows her seriousness.-
