The year was 2035 and World War III was drawing out longer than expected. The advancing Korean and Japanese forces had just captured the last of Russia and North America’s worries continued to grow. The US, French and German forces were stretched thin across the captured territories, the battle fields stained with blood and littered with the dead. Each battle, instead off drawing them closer to victory, seem to bring them closer to ruin. Troops were scarce, the US made it mandatory for and man or woman between the ages of 20 and 45 to enlist to try and raise our numbers. The mandate seemed to only help prolong the inevitable. For a brief moment the contemplated sending children out onto the front lines “The problem with children is they lack discipline,” General Richard Black stated in a press conference. “They lack skill, they lack strength, it would take years to train them and we need a solution now.” “I think I may be able to help with that General,” said Dr. Michael Ivanov, a Russian Genetic Engineer. “What if I could supply you with an army of soldiers with abilities that exceed a normal human’s? A soldier that is almost 5 times stronger, faster, smarter,” he doctor inquired. “You could do this,” the General asked “Yes, I’ve been experimenting with human DNA and I do believe I can alter the DNA of your soldiers to give them these abilities.” The General thought about this idea for a bit and turned to the President for his thoughts “Mr. President…?”
