i suggest a lottery!!! :)

i read a post with something about a shop with the use of your ryo to purchase stuff...
and this came to my mind
"where could i get ryo fast?"

well, my instincts says we need a lottery.. lol

the prize should be discussed so that everybody is in accordance with it. and it can be once a week up to once a month,, your choice guys..

i think i have a way to do it.

no problem at all.. as i've said before.. ill be happy to help with my suggestions :) since you're all too good to me :)

Here is my suggestion. We play this lottery like the real lotteries. We can have a pick 1 lottery. Everyone can go in and buy a ticket. They have to pick a number between one and 30. I will pick the number first so we can start it. Everytime the number is missed the lottery bumps up by 2000 ryo. Then u have to buy another ticket the next week. It should be done once a week I suggest.

There will only be 50 tickets.. * i think the 30 that dom suggested made a lottery win become easy*

You can only buy 1 ticket.. The starting price is 1000ryo. and if there will be no winner for the week, another 1000 shall be added to the pot.


*another reason why i suggested that the no. of tickets should be 50 is because there are almost 40 of us in the site, making somebody win more often :) i also suggest that we pump up the no. of tickets once we gain more members..
*you might say, those 30+ members arent alway online and there might only be 10 tickets sold. but i think that winning the lottery should be in the hands of your luck :) that makes winning a bit more interesting

*by 50 tickets i mean that the numbers 1-50 are available. once a number is taken, you can not take it until the week is over.
for example for this week, i have chosen no. 40, then that no. is saved for me up to the end of the week and the others should chose a no. except for the taken ones. after the weekly lottery is over, a new one shall take place and the no.40 will be again available, unless someone has beaten you to it.

*now, the tickets will only cost you 10 ryo :)


-im no admin,but i am a mod, so i think admins shoul first approve of this. this is just a suggestion(rather my idea of a lottery). :)

I like your tweak on it. However the issue is who keeps picking the numbers? Ill do it to start but Ill want to play it too. So that is the last question concerning it

I really have no idea on making a program that has a random no. choosing thingy...

but i think zero said something about he will be making a system for the lottery :D

I think we should all switch. Like approving characters. Sometimes I tend to them, sometimes you do, and the rest of the time, the other Admins handle it. If you're there, then just pick a number. I think that's the fairest way to do it.

about that.. dont you think that maybe someone might be bias as to chose the no. they've chosen or a no. that a friend has chosen... i think that it'd be better if a program worked on it.. or something...

but i have an idea... every weak, the no. of posts added onto the site is the number...
for example, there were 17 posts added this week, then the no.17 ticket will be the winner,
you might ask "what if there were 60 posts, what now since there are only 50 tix?"

-then we count again from 1. makin 51=1.. so if there were 60, then the winner is the no.10 ticket :)

Lol, it would kinda make way for cheating then... but I like your ideas better than what I had in mind.

It's no problem. And I'll give you that name change for free because using up that 1K Ryo that you just got would be kinda cheap on my part.

well, about the name change, i've thought about it and a lot of people now know me as ravine, and if i changed it, new comers might be confused because there will be no ravine when they come..

thanks anyways. but maybe, i still might change though :) lol
