You can post Magic spells as Techniques. It could be technically the same thing on this site... by the way, in the latest Kingdom Hearts games, the spell tiers go like this (I'll just use "Fire" as an example). Don't ask me for sources, I don't even remember where I found this.
Fire -> Fira -> Firaga -> Firaja -> Firagun
