Natsuki's part 1: A new beginning.

An empty field lies between Winry's house a a distant figure. As the figure approaches... Natsuki becomes visible.

*walks up to Winry's house and pauses outside, unsure of what to do* ....

-After waiting in line, Ed purchases everyones tickets. He hands them out and they wait to board the train. He looks at Natsuki, knowing she probably still has a lot on her mind.- "So, Natty.....what was it like in the other place you were at? You havent really spoken of it since you got back.."

Well.... *sighs* They're a lot different. They don't know of alchemy or anything..... But it wasn't too bad. I met some great people like...like Dominic and Nahaji.

-Al laughs a bit at the names.- "Dominic and Nahaji?? Those are some weird anmes.." -Ed looks to Naty, a bit concerned in how she spoke of it. He just continued to talk normally, hoping she would return to her cheerfu self.- "No info on alchemy huh? I bet you kicked their butt didnt you?"

*is zoned out fora moment, then returns and smiles* Yeah, you could say that. Hahah.. I certainly made a mark.

-Ed pats Natuski, realizing her zone out. He wants to comfort her. As they board the train and enter their private quarters of the train Ed sits her down.- "You know Natty, this isnt healthy..." -AL agrees and offers his part.- "Natty, you shouldnt hold this back. Let it out. You need to cry. I would give anything to be able to let out my emotion...." -They wait for her to speak out, it was only them in the room, so she had her privacy.-

*looks down at the ground* ....... *suddenly bursts into tears* I can't.... believe that I left Dom behind.. just because Haji died. I..I wasn't strong enough to stay, not without Haji. I..would just hold Dom back.. he didn't need me. *wipes my eyes and covers my face* I loved Haji.. Dominic passes his test and we were supposed to get a puppy and everything was going to be alright but..then Haji had to go and be stupid and... just give up... I needed him.. *starts crying even harder*

-Ed couldnt believe what he heard. He and Al were silinced by the raw emotion in Natsuki's voice. She was in pain and they werent there to witness what happened.- "Why did you leave so sudden? I mean, no one forced you right?" -Al asked as he kneeled down to comfort, her, his cold armor nothing like his warm soul.-

*shakes my head no* ......If I had stayed, Dom..would have focused on taking care of me. But..he needed to focus on taking care of himself.. I would have just held him back.. That's just what I did the w..whole time I was there with them... *wipes my eyes again* I should have never left this world.. I mean... I don't even know who I am..where I came from.. All I did was put Dom and Haji in danger... It's my fault Haji is dead. I..just ran away.

-Ed joins Al at Natsuki. He has more emotion on his face, knowing her pain.- "PLease...Natty, dont say that. You formed something no one can take away from you. You formed a family, one in which no one will be able to take from you. Think of the good times. Im sure there were plenty werent there? Tell us some....I know I'd love to hear about them.." -Ed hugs her, waiting to hear a story or two while the train ride took place.-

*takes a moment to catch my breath, then wipes my eyes one last time* Okay... *is now done crying* Well.... *sighs* There was this one time that.. *goes off into a long story about Dom and Haji, passing the time on the train rather quickly* ...and then we decided to take Dom back to Konoha. *smiles slightly as the train pulls to a stop*

-Ed and Al stand, realizing they had helped Natsuki just a bit. She seemed more relaxed as the story went along, her voice calm now. Ed speaks.- "Wow, you seem better....what a crazy bunch of guys.." -Al nodded, chuckling a bit.- "They sure ate a lot didnt they? I mean keeping bacon everywhere he went??"

*grins at the bacon comment* Yeah, Dominic really loves bacon. *stands up* Well....we're here.. It looks like it's time to face the military again. *puts a hand behind my head, thinking* You two ready?

-Ed and Al both nod, ready to proceed. From here they would follow Natty's lead, hoping to help her in anyway possible. They grab the suitcases and begin to walk, following Natty.- "This sure is going to get interesting.." -Ed says, always looking to get into something interesting.-

Yeah...it will be. I wonder what Mustang will say.. I have been gone a long time. *looks around, heading towards the military base* I bet he's beyond pissed.

-Ed shrugs. He and Mustang have had their differences.- "Who knows....the man is always getting on my nerves. He's too pushy I tell ya, makes me sick.." -Al shakes his head in a no fashion.- "Brother, you are always ill at someone. Just accept him for the fact of what he is....a dirty old perv..." -Ed and Al bust out laughing, making the people around them turn to look at their bolstering.-

*joins in on their laughter* Haha...yeah, that's the truth Al. He really is. *they continue walking, nearing the military base* Is he still trying to invoke that silly miniskirt army?

-Ed shrugs again, now realizing how annoying Mustang is in his head.- "Hell if i know. I just know he better have some new information on the philosopher's stone. We've been hitting dead ends with it for months now. Can't take much more of the empty leads.."

*sighs* I didn't find out much either... about myself or the stone. Luckily though, I did learn to contain my powers more.. That means less random outbursts. *grins, then gets serious again* I really hope we can find out what we need...

-Ed and Al nod in agreement on the sound of no more outbursts.- "Sweet! Less stressed Natty!" -They gloat in excitement of her new control. Then things get serious. They arrive at Central Command, the building massive in its glory.- "Well now is as good a time as any. Let's go see Mustang.." -Ed says with a sigh.-

*bites my lip* Alright..... let's do this. *leads the way and walks into the building* You guys know that you don't hafta go with me, right?

-Ed nods as she tells them that they don't have to follow.- "Nonsense Natty. Nothing gets the blood flowing like a Mustang meeting. We are overdue ourselves anyway..." -Al agrees.- "Brother has been pushing his buttons the last few times we've come so this one will be icing on the cake." -They follow Natsuki into central command, tunnel visioned towards Mustang's office.-

*sighs as the reach the office door* Well... here it goes. *knocks three times...rather loudly.*

-Ed sighed, barging in the door, not worried what Mustang would say. Ed was ready to get started on the next assignment. He boldly spoke up.- "Hey Mustang! Guess what? Your going to give us our new parameters!" -Ed stood boldly in the room, his arms crossed at his unnecessary entrance into the room.-

*mustang looked up from his daily rations* Mustang: well who the hell told you you could barge in here like that *in an instant he had wacked ed over the head with a rolled up news paper* the hell is so important that you have to interrupt my eating!!!!

-Ed grabbed his head and yelled out to Mustang.- "Hey watch it you ASS hole! I swear if it weren't for Natty being back, you'd be a dead man right now!" -Al walked in slowly with Natsuki, gesturing towards her.- "Brother was just excited about her return..." -Al waits for her to walk up to Mustang.-
