(sg) member of the month widget!

i have an unbelievably irresistible addiction with creating html widgets. lol. i've done a member of the month widget and im thinking if it's good to put it in the site portal like the admin widget as well. lol.

Im starting to see the obsession. However, how would you suggest going about picking the member of the month? It cannot be a totally biased decision. It has to be based on facts, stats, etc.

i was thinking of customizing a poll widget for that. lol.

Right, Ive seen that as well on other sites. So how do you suggest picking nominees? And I already know Im making a rule where you cant win it consecutively. That way more people will want to be part of it.

The admins will pick maybe about 5 most active members or those who contributes the most. Then the members can decide by using the poll.

But I’m not sure if we should include the admins to candidates of members of the month though. Cause it’s already understandable that they have to be active.

Well admin can be added, they just can't vote for themselves and only 2 admin at a time can be nominated. Don't exclude cuz we are great lol jk. But it should all really depend on type of impact their posting is making as well.

I don’t know. Cause if admins are included, then they’ll simply be the automatic winners compared to the members. Besides, give us a break. Lol. You already have your pictures in the Admin Widgets. Lol lol.

Lol. Well I get tha point lol. We will see how it goes. Just remember half of us are admin on tha site. So I bet the same five names will appear everytime for regular users. Lol.
