Chapter 1 The Story Begins.
Sixteen years ago in a small village there was a terrible storm brought by the mightiest of demons. Shu Chan the Queen of demons had attacked the village of shadows to take the most valuable treasure in the world, The Dragons Eye. A Gem said to contain within it the soul of the dragon king Shan Chui. A man with short red hair and green eyes stands ready to fight for his village his name…was misuko. The epic clash begun fiercely but ended with Shu Chan sealed within a magic tree which is on the top of a large mountain north of the village and the young man was dead leaving behind his wife and unborn son.
Today the mans son a 5’3 boy with red hair, green eyes and a red mark on the side of his neck named Senko Reiken, is 15 and takes care of the village the spitting image of his father. His mother a long black haired woman with blue eyes named Ayame Reiken, has kept Senko’s father a secret from him for his own safety. Unlike the others in the village, Senko has a secret inside him that no one else does. Unknown to him before his father died, he transferred the king dragons soul into his unborn son’s body for protection. The only thing keeping the dragon inside senko is the mark on his neck.
Senko studies hard to fulfill his mothers dream of him becoming a smart and wealthy man, but senko loves to train in martial arts. Senko’s two best friends Akina a smart and cute white haired fourteen year old girl with blue eyes who has a secret crush on senko, and Desumaro a sixteen year old boy with dark brown hair and black eyes who is akina’s older brother. Waited outside for senko so they can go hang out down by the lake near the old temple of the fire lord. As senko walked outside desumaro looked at him “what took you so long senko? Your moms making you do chores again?” Senko laughed “yea just like always well let’s go guys we got to get to the lake by the old shadow temple.” Akina looked at senko and her brother walk away thinking to herself “Akina you coming?” senko asked as he saw her standing there and she blushed a little “Yea I’m coming” she said as she ran to catch up to them.
Chapter Two- Secret of the Mark.
As the kids walked to the lake, unknown to them they were being followed. “Is that him? The dragon king’s vessel?” one figure said “Yes but those other two we don’t need. Kill them both” as they stayed hidden in the trees the kids took off their clothes and are left in their swimsuits as they jump into the water and relax. “Ah nothing like the lake to cool down huh guys” senko asked and laughed as the others sighed in response. In the trees the two figures watched. “Now Bikuro?” The tall Bikuro looked at his partner “Now Konguro!” they jumped out of the trees throwing knifes at the kids but they all missed and they all ran out of the water. “What the heck? Who are you?” Senko said as the Assassins landed in front of them and looked at senko “we’re here for you. And to kill them” as Bikuro pointed at akina and desumaro. Desumaro rushed at them and was then kicked in the gut and kicked into a rock blood dripping from his mouth “ugh…can’t move.” The assassins laugh and walked toward akina and smacked her to the ground and pulled out a knife “time to die girly!” as they lunged both knifes at her they are kicked into a tree by senko as he looked at the ground. Akina looked worried “s-senko are you ok?” senko clenched his fists “you creeps will not hurt my friends so long as I live.”
Senko looked up with red eyes, sharp teeth and claws and the mark on his neck has spread a little to the side of his face and down his right arm making them black and scaly. Akina looked at him as an assassin runs at him with a sword drawn and slashes at him senko grabbing the sword and pulls it out of his hands and kicks him into a tree then throwing the sword into his leg as he looks at bikuro “your next.” Akina got up and hugged senko from behind trying to restrain him “Senko Stop! Please stop senko no more” senko looks at akina as the mark recedes and he turns normal “what happened?” Akina hugs him tightly and cries in his chest as he hugs her “I’m sorry akina please don’t cry.” desumaro looks at senko wondering what happened to give him that power. At this point bikuro runs into the woods and vanishes. As they gather their belongings and they tie the assassin to the tree he was sitting under they hear an explosion. Senko looked at the smoke rising from the forest “What the hell?” desumaro looked. “It came from the village, let’s go guys!” they all ran towards the village jumping over logs and dashing through the forest. When they arrived they see the village is all in flames as senko saw his house on fire “MOM!” he shouted as he ran down the hill and ran through the door to his house. “Mom where are you?” he says coughing from the smoke filling the house. “Senko?” ayame was somewhere in the house looking for a way out.
Chapter 3 The Temple of shadows! Misuko’s Grave.
As senko runs through the burning house looking for his mother his friends watch on in worried horror. Finally senko finds his mother and helps her out of the house. Ayame told her son and the other that the village was attack by assassins looking for senko and about his powers… and more important his father. Senko looked at his friends then at his mother “so…I’m the reason these things are happening to the village? And dad was a warrior who defeated the demon queen years ago?” his mother nodded to him “and you must journey to the shadow temple for answers to everything, the world is in danger and you have the power to stop it senko… you and your friends… go now there’s no time to waste.” the three ran as fast as they could to the temple and as they saw the old temple covered in vines they slowly entered. ”Wow so this is the Shadow temple?” senko said as he looked around the others staying close behind him as he looks back at his friends ’do they have powers too?’ he thought to himself as they entered a room.
As they walked into the room akina started to shake in fear looking at all the skeletons of the old soldiers from the war she hugged her older brothers arm as he comforted her. They stand looking at the coffin of senko’s father misuko Reiken the man who saved the whole village from both the dragon king and the demon queen and in so died at only the age of 29. They approached the coffin when there was a crash behind them they turned around to see....

They approached the coffin when there was a crash behind them they turned around to see....
