Prologue

The year is 2023. Eighteen years ago, the greatest hero and the greatest villain in history and time disappeared without a trace. Nobody knows what or who caused it to happen but all that is known is something that will shake the boundaries of time and space is about to take place and when it does, it will change the meaning of heroes and villains for all eternity.

Chapter One- The Beginning

This story begins at seven o’clock on July seventh, 2023. A six foot boy with black and silver hair yawns as he wakes up, sitting up in his bed and ruffles his hair. A woman comes into the room and walks up to him, placing a tray of eggs, bacon, French toast, orange juice, and waffles covered in maple syrup in front of him. “Happy eighteenth birthday, Gin” the woman said, smiling. Gin rubbed his eyes to wake up. “Thanks mom but you didn’t have to make me breakfast in bed.” Gin’s mother smiled and walked to the door. “It’s no big deal, just wanted to do something for your birthday, I’ll give you your other present later” Gin’s mom left the room, leaving gin wondering about the other present he was going to get. “I hope it’s that sports car I wanted” he thought to himself as he started to eat.

Later that afternoon, Gin walks downstairs to the kitchen after playing video games upstairs for the last seven hours. Gin’s mother walked to him as he drank a glass of water and hands him an emerald case with a cross and a dragon on it. “This belonged to your father; I hope you make the right decision when you open that case.” Gin’s mom walked away after handing gin the case, crying at its importance. Little did gin know, his mom just handed him the most important thing in all of space and time. Gin opens the case and sees a beautiful, slender black and gold longsword with a white dragon shaped hilt. ”Wow, it’s incredible, so this is my inheritance?”

All of a sudden, the wall next to gin crashed down and a red blur attacked him from the left side. Gin felt an ominous power as the blur attacks and he blocks out of instinct. A cloud of dust arises and gin could be seen clashing swords with the blur. “What the heck, how did I do that?” The blur settles and could be clearly seen as a guy with red and white spiky hair, the guy was the same height as gin but his beard showed he was somewhat older than him.” Nice reflexes, gin” Gin growls softly and menacingly. ”Koga….you traitor!” Koga smirks at gin, chuckling. “Tsk, that’s kogane to you, gin” Gin and kogane glare at each other then backs away, holding their swords in their hands. “What’s going on koga?” Koga chuckles again, this time with pure amusement. “I don’t know myself, all I did was pick up the sword in a case I got for my birthday last month and I suddenly felt an intense rage overcame me and here we are”

Koga attacked gin once more and a kunai knife flew by gin’s head, landing in front of him. “Heh, whoever threw that has horrible a-” An explosive tag attached to the knife goes off, causing an explosion that knocks out koga and sends him flying through the hole in the wall and into his own house next door. Gin recovers from the shock of the last few seconds and turns around, seeing his mother holding two more kunai knifes in her hand and says, “Mom….what’s going on?” His mother looks at him with a serious expression. “Come here, gin, I think it’s time we spoke about your father”
